Best Time to Visit

Good season: October - March

If you’re planning on visiting Finland to see the Northern Lights, make sure you do so between mid September and mid April. This is the time when the nights are the longest and darkest in Finland. Clear, long and dark nights are a requirement for a good view of the Aurora Borealis.
