Mostarska Bijela is the hiking route for everyone who loves nature & wilidlife and it is easy for all type of fitness level and years old.
From start point do endpoint we hike in the beautiful canyon near small river Bijela which is potable during our way. The marked path leads to a poorer macadam path to the stream that has to run.
It continues on the macadam road and in one place racing on the track for Lupoglav, ie Grabovčići and the path for Bijela. When the stream is shallower, it is more convenient to move immediately to White and will cross this stream an additional 5-6 times without a height difference, but without the markers that are not recommended to inexperienced hikers. However, when the stream of water is deep, it is preferable to open it first through the climbing Lupoglava, and then lose on the next crossroads in Bijela.
This variant of the route is well-marked, without crossing the stream, but also a bit more difficult. Both tracks quickly fit into one. The hiking track leads us through the canyon of Bijela, Pebbles and Meadows, and through the thick grabing forest next to the so called. Cows’ caves to the remains of the former mountain shelters at 475 m.a.s.l.
From here it is possible to take the steep path to Glogovo and continue. In addition to the burned house, there is a cave from which a shallow stream of 80m deep and galery illuminated at the end of which is a 10m high waterfall, and therefore it is worth a little wet and sloping the ice water. Above this cave the stream is called Gornja Bijela.
