With long and wide forest skis we move through a fantastic winter landscape. No trails, no prepared tracks, just freely in the snow-covered forest.
Forest skiing is the traditional way of transportation in wintertime. Deep powder snow, sometimes over 1 meter, requires long and wide skis.
Here in the Nordic countries, we have been using skis for over 5200 years. This is the area where the ski was born. Traditional Cross-country skis (nowadays called Forest Skis) will help us stay on the surface of the snow and makes it possible for us to move longer distances even if the snow is deep and soft.
We ski through a fantastic winter landscape. No trails or prepared tracks, just freely in the forest. You will experience the silence and enjoy the pure white surroundings. On this tour, we will see lots of animal footprints in the snow. And maybe we’ll see the animals too.
