Starting right in the heart of the Royal National Park, this introductory-level trail is the perfect way to spend a day outdoors amongst the stunning beauty of Sydney's coast. It's hard not to be in awe, as you walk amidst the ocean's thunder and salt spray, trailing across exposed sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches and coastal heathland.
Make sure you pack your swimmers because the beaches will entice with their clean white sand and azure blue waters; the perfect chance to cool down. There will be ample time to relax, fossick the shoreline, and soak up some glorious sunshine.

An exceptional National Park, the Royal displays significant Aboriginal history, with ancient middens and other evidence of their peaceful and prosperous civilization to be found along the track. In more recent time, during the great depression of the '30s, a series of quaint coastal villages were constructed. We'll have the chance to visit one of these villages, casting our mind back to a simpler time.
