Guided tiny group, semi-private tour of 2-6 passengers max in a super jeep. Seljalandsfoss/Gljúfrabúi/Skógafoss waterfalls, Sólheimajökull glacier and Vík black beach. Includes at least one off the beaten path stop.
On this guided tiny group, semi-private tour of 2-6 passengers max in a super jeep, we take you to some of Iceland’s most iconic sights along the South Coast: Seljalandsfoss/Gljúfabúi/Skógafoss waterfalls, Sólheimajökull glacier and the famous black beach in Vik with the basalt column cave. You will also glimpse a view of the infamous Eyjafjallajökull volcano, as well as the mystical Vestmannaeyjar volcanic archipelago just off the coast. And because we think it's important for your experience of Iceland, we will also include at least one off the beaten path stop.
We will spend quality time at all our locations before driving back the same way to Reykjavík. If we have extra time and energy on the way back we can visit another waterfall; Urriðafoss, which is the most voluminous waterfall in Iceland. The drive back takes us through the active geothermal area Hellisheiði and some stunning lava fields.
Your guide is a friendly and informative local who will do his/her best to show you Iceland from a local's point of view and appreciation.
