“ IF YOU ARE IN HELSINKI... YOU MUST DO IT!!!! ”
Me and my girlfriend's first time in Helsinki completely changed when we came across Burn Out City. It was coming to the end of winter and Ice was melting on the Archipelago. Henrik and his team came to pick us up at our hotel door and took us to a very fulfilling experience with a lot of excitement, speed, great lunch, amazing view and true finish traditions. We were the last winter tour for 2018. I recommend anyone to go for this tour. Not only is worth money wise but these guys really make you feel part of Finland.

“ It’s fantastic trip where you drive your own snow mobile ”
The 3.5 hour snow mobile was one of if not the best tours I have done and I travel the around world annually.
It’s fantastic trip where you drive your own snow mobile,no experience needed they are easy to drive and much easier than a quad bike.
We travelled approx 50 kms seeing the awesome sites in the Archipelago.
Not one minute was boring. Kenneth was an excellent and informative host.
Lunch was fantastic with an authentic Scandinavian lunch and desert.
I can’t say enough about it so I’ll post pics instead.
It’s great value and something you can’t believe you can do so close to Helsinki, I’d highly recommend doing this tour in Helsinki.

“ Snowmobile Tour March 2018 ”
We took a 3.5 hour Snowmobile tour. It was one of the best experiences. Both Henrik and Anders quickly responded to my emails and made the booking convenient. Henrik was very kind to pick us up from our hotel without any delays. Once the tour started all the guidelines were explained to us effectively. The tour itself was great. We drove snowmobiles for approximately 2 hours in the archipelago and a 30 minutes lunch and activity (kick sled and ice fishing) break. It was alot of fun. The crew was simply great!

“ A uniquely Finnish experience ”
All around a great tour with a fantastic tour company! They gear you up with everything you need to stay comfortable while driving across and through the frozen archipelago. You stop occasionally for a few words about the area, culture and wildlife. If you have limited time in Helsinki, get out and see something unique about Finland.

“ Amazing experience ”
This is a truly amazing trip! Anders, Kenneth and Henrik were entertaining and informative, and made sure we all had the best possible time. From the pick up at our city centre hotel, to the thermal clothes and wonderful lunch beside the fire pit, it was definitely an experience to remember! Driving a snowmobile was on my husband's bucket list, and it was a great big tick from him! We would recommend it to anyone.

“ Unforgettable day! ”
In the beginning I thought it was going to be a short bike ride but it was so much more. The guide who took us on route was a really experienced man and also very funny, we had a few stops along the way and he explained everything and it was great to share a bit of his knowledge. The bikes were really powerful but easy to drive and we did some others activities, even curling!! One of my best days in Finland so far :)

“ This is a must if you go through Helsinki in winter ”
I was not at all sure what to expect. However this turned out to be the best part of my trip to Helsinki. This was exactly what it was advertised as; a "safari" of a beautiful snow covered landscape. The staff (Kenneth, Hendrik & Anders) were excellent hosts, very friendly and attentive to all details. Explanations of where we were and what we were seeing. No worries for 1st time snowmobilers. BBQ lunch of local flavors with a firepit to warm up. Really Excellent!

Can't recommend this experience enough! Kenneth and Anders were amazing guides, so welcoming and fun. So much more than just a snowmobiling experience. 5 stars is not a high enough rating! Thanks again and see you guys in Jersey.

We really enjoyed our trip to the archipelago with Burnout. The people were all very friendly and helpful - making the snowmobile driving feel easy, safe and fun. The scenery was beautiful, even though it was a grey day.
It was ineresting seeing the ice fishermen and having a go ourselves!
Lunch was fine.

A must do if you are staying the resort. There is nth in like it!!! The guides are wonderful. They supply all the gear, but make sure you dress warm! We did 3 layers. It was -30 C when we rode. Worth getting a little chilly.

“ Simply the best ! ”
My husband, I and 3 boys (18, 16, 12) had booked the half day snowmobile safari from Ireland. All the communication before was excellent, any questions we had were answered promptly.
They also updated us with the snow situation.
Unfortunately there was not enough snow in the end so the guys changed the package to a half day adventure day for us.
I can only say all the guys were so professional, had so much interesting information, made the trip super interesting for the boys and were all so friendly and fun.
We started off with kick sleding on the frozen lake (loved that) and tried our luck with ice fishing. Then we zoomed through the half frozen bay to an island where we explored, had a beautiful lunch with fresh salmon and much more, had a lovely fire going and admired the beauty around us.
To finish off we had a fantastic Finish sauna experience and the boys also put on bubble suits and floated in the sea.
It was one of our best outdoor days with the boys, so much laughter.
The Burn out City guys were super, special thanks to Kennet who was such a fun character. May the force stay with you
We certainly be back for more!

“ Wouldn't It Be Ice... ”
A fantastic experience so well organised and delivered from the moment of the hotel pick through to when you are hurtling across the ice on your snow mobile. Warmly delivered by Henrik, Anders and Kenneth, whose pride in their country and unbridled enjoyment of the outside life is infectious. The archipelago is stunning and is a limitless playground be it winter activities through to summer yachting, rib boat rides and axe throwing! I kid ye not. The snow mobile safari took in ice fishing, kick sleds and lunch. Even though we - and there were four of us - had only just met it felt like going outwith a group of mates. Burn Out City seems a class act and though not cheap, worth every penny.

“ Memories are made of this... ”
We decided to book for the half day safari with lunch. We were collected from our hotel by Henrik and taken to Espoo district . All suits, boots, gloves, balaclava and helmets are provided. After we had changed we ( with another couple) were shown how to use the snow mobiles. We were then taken on our safari over the frozen sea by Kenny and Anders. It was a fantastic journey and we took turns driving. At no time were we hurried. Both Kenny and Anders were friendly, great fun to be with and immensely proud of their native country. They had a wealth of knowledge and experience of the area.
We learnt how to cut a hole in the ice and were given opportunities to do this ourselves and to ice fish . While our lunch was being prepared we played with kick sleds around the island.
We had an outside lunch of Finnish fare cooked on a BBQ, coffee or soft drinks or the native Grog which was then rounded off with cooking marshmallows on an open fire.
It was so peaceful and majestic. We witnessed an eagle soaring over the fir trees.
Back at the head quarters we finished off with vodka shots and were taken sated back to our hotel.
As one gets older it is the experineces that one remembers and this was truly a great day. These guys are professional and passionate about what they do and they are expert at making one feel relaxed and comfortable. If you miss the ice they do a lot of Summer water based activities too. Kenny has been an Olympic class sailor and has won numerous accolades so it is bound to be good fun too.

“ Archipelago Snowmobile Safari ”
Oh my goodness! What an absolutely fantastic day we've just had! The whole team are just fab. Henrik arranged everything for us and Anders and Kenneth were the best guides and hosts! We were looked after really well, we can't believe we were on the frozen Baltic Sea! The scenery is amazing and we had lots of stops and photo opportunities. The setting for lunch was also fantastic. We can't fault a thing. Maybe I should have put more sun block on though!! Would definitely recommend this trip and we will come back and do it again one day!

“ Awesome day! ”
We were picked up from our hotel at 0930 by Henrik who took us to the BOC HQ. We were greeted by Kenneth (who is hilarious) and Anders.
Suited and booted in our -20 proof snow suits.
I flippin' love a snow suit so this was great news to me, and even better that you don't have to worry about what to wear!
Even though I was the only female, I was made to feel like one of the boys!
We ventured out on a hovercraft to our destination we we met the snowmobiles and off we went.
We had a great time trying all sorts of activities, I enjoyed the trying Finnish food's, celebrating Runeberg's day with a lovely torte and also the shots when we got back (one thing I learned about the Fins is they do enjoy a drink)
It is cold! if you take a camera I would recommend taking some liner gloves so you can take your mittens off and not get too chilly whilst trying to operate your camera or phone!
The guys at Burn Out City are true champions of what they do, their knowledge is incredible and they are full of interesting facts and stories!
I would highly recommend this trip. I loved it so much I would have happily gone out again!

“ Amazing must do experience when visiting Helsinki area ”
Booked the Snowmobile safari as had a day spare visiting friends north of Helsinki. So very glad we did. Its a bit milder than it should be and less snow than usual at this time of year so had to go a bit further north but our guides had a plan B for us ...
But that gave us an additional method of transport - - mini hovercraft across the ice ! Great start......then off on the snow mobiles acoss the frozen sea stopping off at islands to admire the stunning views and feeling of peace. Stop for some ice fishing and an excellent lunch over open fire sampling local foods. Then back to camp , a quick dip in the sea in special suit and finish with a frozen shot of vodka ! Anders and Kenneth and Henlik are superb tour guides, couldnt ask for better. Such warmth , pride of their land and great knowledge, thank you.... also for info....picked up from our hotel, took all our luggage and dropped us at station , accomodated our every whim....make sure you book this half day tour.
