This tour combines two distinct, yet in some way related activities. After riding between lava fields and black sands, up and down the mountains admiring the view of the city and whale watching area, it’s fantastic to spend the afternoon at sea exploring the wonders of the whales and sea.
You will be picked up from your hotel by the Quad Safari shuttle bus between 9:00-9:30, taking you to their base camp in Úlfarsárdalur. The Mountain Safari tour starts at 10:00 and total riding time is 1 hour, including short stops. You can use the add-on 'Single rider' to show how many will be riding solo, if any. After the tour you will be driven to Reykjavík´s old harbour where you can visit our Whale Watching Centre and walk around the harbour area before the whale watching tour which starts at 13:00. After exploring the wonders of the whales and seabirds that Faxaflói offers you return to the harbour around 17:00 and we take you back to your hotel with our shuttle bus.
