Nearby the Andean Mountains, there is emerald color lagoon, located inside a volcano crater with a height of 3800m named Quilotoa. The drive passes through Zumbahua canyon and tons of indigenous towns & farmlands. We will have a visit to either Saquisilí (Thursdays), Zumbahua (Saturdays) or Pujilí (Sundays) indigenous market.
For lunch, we headed to one of the cabins of the indigenous families of Quilotoa. This tour includes a bilingual guide. The climate in Quilotoa is very unpredictable, so we recommend that you prepare with warm and waterproof clothing.
