“ Don't Miss This! ”
What an incredible hike to see the sun rise over Pulpit Rock. This is the start of our Norway journey and was just an incredible introduction to the awesome Norway landscape. The hike was well organised and our guide Josh was great. T
The views from the top are breath taking and I'll never forget this incredible experience.
The only thing is it's not what I'd call an 'easy' hike (and I hike a bit in Australia) more like 'medium' - however if you're reasonably fit and healthy you should be fine.
Well worth getting up early to beat the crowds and get amazing lighting over the fjord... so fantastic it's hard to find the words to describe!

“ Fantastic sunrise hike to Pulpit Rock! ”
We, a family of three (two adults and a soon to be 12-year old) with not particularly much experience of hiking in the mountains, booked this tour for the beginning of July. We had chosen the extra pack, incl rental boots, jacket, pants, rucksack and photos, which we think was a good choice. It was all a great experience, starting off in the dark with headlights. We stopped for shorter breaks a couple of times on the way up. Shortly before arrival the clouds were hanging so low, we could not see the fjord. But, as we arrived on the top, it cleared up! On the way down it started pouring, which meant we were soaking wet by the time we reached the parking lot again. The boots had us dry, though, which was really nice. Ended the tour with a great breakfast at the lodge, before being brought back to our Airbnb in Stavanger.
We were the only people on the hike up and there as well (apart from 4 other guys who had camped close by)! We did not see any other people until about 1 km from the parking lot.
We would definitely recommend this hike - so worth the money if you want to visit the Pulpit Rock!

“ We did see the sunrise moment ”
The information on the official website is simple and clear.I received a e-mail notice two days before the tour.
We did the sunrise hike to Preikestolen with Lawn, his timing controll is great!I had a almost 0:00 AM pickup time, and we arrived to the parking lot at trailhead around 2:00 AM.Lawn took a easy walking pace with us, and he introduced history, plants, terrain with his sense of humor. In the process of hiking, scenery is beautiful, I felt that I am hiking in Taiwan. It was good weather, we were lucky, and we did see the sunrise moment around 4:30 AM.Thanks to Lawn took many great photo for us.
After hiking, we had a hearty breakfast just nearby the parking lot.We returned to the Stavanger city center at about 10:00 AM, so I had a brand new day after hiking!
Finally,it is recommended that participants have enough sleep before taking tour.

“ Breathtaking experience ”
The hike was incredibly beautiful, with mindblowing views of the fjord and the morning sky. It was peaceful and refreshing because of the time of the day. Finally reaching the Pulpit rock was truly awesome and extremely rewarding.
The guide was a fabulous guy who had a great deal of information and was very freindly. He definitely made the hike more pleasant. The organisation is also very attentive to safety measures and punctuality.
The tour ended with a delicious breakfast and a happy heart :)

“ Excellent hike! ”
I absolutely recommend the Preikestolen Sunrise Hike for those who wish to truly connect with the wilderness and beauty of nature. All you need to do is to respect the mountain and listen to your guide, and you'll see the fjord at sunrise, a unique view of the water 604 meters below. We had the luck of having a second guide too, a three month old Border Collie, the little guy accompanied us all the way to the top and back.
I recommend buying the photography package too as your guide will take astonishing picture of the hike for you.

“ Amazing hiking experience! ”
This is the first time I am hiking in the dark to see sunrise. We were given equipments like hiking sticks, headlights and we could rent hiking shoes, jackets etc etc. We had an excellent guide who loved hiking and her experiences were very motivating for us to listen to. She was very friendly and even though we were agroup of 8, we got along and all of us helped each other and the experience was just fantastic! The guide was very professional and knew each of our strengths and weaknesses. She took great pictures of the entire hike as well. She even made us tea on top of preikestolen. I would suggest everybody to do the sunrise hike including beginners. Trust me, the effort will be totally worth it!

“ A fantastic magical hike ”
I did the sunrise hike to Preikestolen, it was an absolutely fantastic, magical hike (helped by the perfect sunrise conditions).
You can tell that Erlend (the guide) loves his job and is incredibly passionate and full of knowledge (as well as a great photographer). There was no pressure to get to Preikestolen (we had plenty of time before sunrise) but also no pressure to leave as soon as the sun was up. Erlend was able to show me different viewpoints and photo spots (scrambling over rocks). It just felt all very relaxed rather than rushed (more time to take all the sights in).
I was on a solo trip and it’s good to know that there’s no minimum numbers to for the tour to run.
An absolute highlight of my Norwegian holiday.

“ Perfect Experience ”
This was once in a lifetime hike - perfect experience. Our guide, Fabrizio was great and was able to help us navigate the icy conditions in Dec. I wanted to cover another country with my other friends but decided to take the pulpit rock as a tradeoff. This decision was well worth it because of the guide's efforts. The company was also able to answer all questions and delivered good experience from the start to finish

“ Amazing place & experience ”
It was a great experience from the beginning to the end. You could feel Erlend was experienced in the tour and he really enjoy doing it.
It is not an extremely difficult walk but also not the easiest, specially because there was a lot of water and the rocks were slippery.
The tour was really proffesional and the experience in the Preikestolen, just amazing.
The only thing that could be improved was that we arrived at 4am in the parking lot, at 4:20 we have finished with distributing the equipment and we waited until 5am for starting walking, as it was too early. I could have used that 30 min to sleep extra, as it was very early.
But totally recommended!

“ Phenomenal hike with an amazing view ”
My husband, father, and I had a fantastic sunrise hike to Preikestolen. Our trip started at 4am where our guide picked us up on time. Then we drove to the base of Preikestolen and began our hike once equipped with head lamps, hiking poles, and donning our rain gear. We wore waterproof hiking boots, rain jackets, rain pants, hat and gloves. We began our hike in the rain but the knowledge of our guide, hiking poles, and headlamps made the climb easy. Luckily for us, the rain stopped about 10 minutes into our trek which afforded us fantastic views along the hike and at sunrise. We arrived about 20 minutes before sunrise and had time to take in the phenomenal views, take pictures, and enjoy our surroundings. We enjoyed the sunrise and were given hot berry juice before ascending a little higher to view Pulpit Rock from above. We completed the return trip and enjoyed beet soup in the Lodge before driving back to Stavanger. An amazing experience that we highly recommend!

“ Great guide and fantastic hike ”
What an amazing experience to hike in the dark, only being able to see a few steps ahead and ending up in the most beautiful light despite the rain and hence no sunrise as such.
Our Guide Erlend was super professional and pleasant, it’s very clear that he loves his job. We would love to come back and do the Kjerag hike.

“ An activity every active person must do ”
Our hike started at around 4.15 am and we reached Preikestolen just after 6.30 am. For my wife and I both over 50s and with knee issues this was always going to be a challenge. Our guide on this trip Hilda was amazing. She gave us some "Robust" encouragement to ensure we keep up with rest of the group. The presence of her dog Molly also helped relieve some of the pains. We will carry pleasant memories of this trip for a long time. A big thank you goes to Hilda in ensuring we completed the activity. Highly recommended.

“ Absolutely worth the early start! Great photos and memories. ”
While we chose to stay at Preikstolen Mountain Lodge to maximise our sleep the night before, our meeting time was 4am in the car park. Our guide was Hilde (with her dog Molly). In a word, she was magnificent! We had 10 in our group. The trek started with a check of all equipment, distribution of head lamps and walking poles and a safety briefing. We left at 4:30am at a cracking pace for the first hill climb so we would all warm up. I was at the back of the pack and fell 20-30m behind at times, but Hilde assured me my pace was OK. At the end of each of the 3 climbs we had a break to re-group and adjust our equipment / clothing to ensure comfort. Hilde helped with guidance on this also. We took about 2 hours to get there, with Hilde monitoring our pace to ensure we got there in time but proceeded safely. While there was some light in the sky, we arrived in time to see the sunrise and get some great photos and memories. Hilde provided a hot drink while there and after 30 minutes or so at the rock (it was a bit windy, and we saw all we wanted to) we started the 2 hour trip back. Hilde reminded us to focus and not to rush on the descent to avoid slipping / injury. At the lodge we then had a good breakfast and enjoyed chatting more with other group members.
My husband & I are not experienced trekkers and found the walk demanding but managable - even if the pace at times was faster than what we would have set for ourselves.

“ Preikestolen Sunrise Hike - When you take back good memories ”
Travelled to Stavanger on 30th Aug evening and took the Preikestolen Sunrise Hike on 31st Aug. Had thought it would be exhausting since I did not rest much. However, the experience was out of this world. A timely early morning pickup, amazing co-hikers and an excellent guide - Erlend (Alan - That's what most of the people call him, I believe). He was organized, friendly, knowledgeable of the surroundings - provided excellent information on plants, birds, nature in general (- he loves biology!), made us feel comfortable. The head lamps and walking poles proved helpful. The small snack and warm berry juice from the local farm was refreshing. We made up to the top within time and got a fantastic view of the sunrise. Since we took the sunrise hike, the place was not crowded which was another plus point. Once we completed the hike, the breakfast arrangement at the Mountain Lodge was just what we needed. Post a hearty breakfast we were dropped off at our destined locations.
Overall, a thoroughly recommended hike because the Outdoor Life Norway is just not a team of professionals but they see to it that you take back good memories!
Sincere thanks to Outdoor Life Norway and Erlend !! :)

“ Amazing route and awesome guide. ”
It was a great experience. Hiking during the night for 2,5 hours in order to see the sunrise in the pulpit rock. It´s totally worth it and it´s not a difficult route but still you need to be able to do it and be in shape. First 15 min are the most difficult ones. Our guide, Alan, was fantastic the whole time. He is really well experienced. And if you are lucky of having clear sky the views are amazing. For me it was breathtaking ;)

“ Well-organized and nice guide. ”
it was our first time hiking ever. For this reason, it was a kind of scary and uncertain if we could manage to climb up.
The guide, "Alan", was super nice, and helped and waited for everyone (even the slow one, like us)
The tour was perfectly organized (Norwegian way of doing things) and there was no single incident or issue during the climbing.
After 2 hours, the views up there are just amazing. We were speechless contemplating such natural beauty at dawn.
The advantage of Sunrise Hike is that there are not people when going up, so it's much easier. Besides, when getting up the whole place is "for you" and no push or hurry to make pictures of getting a nice spot to stay.

“ Preikestolen Sunrise Hike - a dream come true ”
First of all. i would like to say that when we booked this hike, although we read some comments, we had really no idea what to expect. And it was very good, because what followed, was exactly what we wanted and what we needed.
The "adventure" started at around 01.00 AM, when our guide, a very nice girl, Mathilde, picked us up from a point settled when we made the reservation. All the way to the starting point (which was around 03.10 AM), she made sure that we all knew each other (8 people in the car) and by doing so, the time passed in a very constructive manner.
When we got to the starting point, Mathilde gave us headlamps (because it was dark), trekking poles and she showed us what was about to happen.
After about 2 hours, we were on Preikestolen and the dream came true. There were a couple of persons there, which made the plateau very accesibile for a photo shooting:)
Although we had no sun (because it was cloudy), there was no fog so we saw everything. In the meantime, Mathilde gave us a cup of hot tea and took some photos (if you take this hike, i highly recommend to the take the photo option, which means that the guide will take care of this for you).
We stood there for about an hour. Until the starting point, we made about 2 hours. Going down, we encountered many people that were hiking and, seeing this, we considered ourselves very lucky to be on Preikestolen without too much crowd,.
The conclusion is that we made a very wise choice and we are happy with everything that happened.
A very warm thanks to Mathilde for taking care of us and good hiking to anyone who takes this option as a hike to a very beautiful mountain.

We had an amazingly beautiful hike to Preikestolen to see the sunrise over Lysefjorden. Our guide Mathilda was very nice and professional, and had some interesting stories to tell during the hike. We were provided with headlamps and walking sticks, snacks and hot juice as well as a nice breakfast afterwards. It was a great experience to hike in the dark and with only a few other people - definately recommended!

You get picked up around midnight and driven to the trail head. They have all the equipment you need for a successful hike in the dark. Our guide Mathilde was amazing! The hike up with head lamps took 2-2.5 hours. We had plenty of time at the summit to enjoy the breathtaking views. Then a 2 hour trek down the hill, where a hot breakfast was waiting. Highly recommend! Enjoy!

“ An experience I don’t want to miss! ”
This was the most memorable day of our whole Norwegian adventure! We were so lucky - not only because we made it to the Preikestolen, but also because the weather was excellent for seeing the sun rising with only some other quiet people around us and not a big crowd - and with an excellent guide! Alan is experienced, friendly and patient and very knowledgeable. He always motivated us positively. He not only led us to the top and back, he also explained a lot about the geology of the rock formation and mountains and about plants which we saw on our way. We would have joined another tour with him if there had been the time. We highly recommend Outdoorlife Norway. Takk for turen!

“ Preikestolen at sunrise is something that everyone should witness ”
Our guide Erlend arrived early and had a friendly greeting for us. He introduced himself and outlined what the hike would entail.
He was very accomodating and answered all the questions that the group had.
Before we started he oulined the route and gave us a great insight into what to expect.
Along the route he gave plenty of breaks and had some interesting points on the nature in the area. He was also taking pictures and could pick out the best areas for views of the area.
The hike itself is extremely doable for all levels and the hiking poles provided are a great aid.
We got up to the top early enough and Erlend had some warm blackberry punch for us which was a nice treat.
The sunrise itself is spectacular and the views are amazing. I honestly don't get too worked up about views but I can remember saying to my friend ''I'd stay here for hours, it's amazing''
We had a great experience as there wasn't a cloud in the sky and our group were all able hikers.
The breakfast that is included at the end is a nice touch and we all filled up on freshly made bread and meat/salad selection.
Take away points: The guide Erlend really nice, accomodating and enthusiastic (you can tell that he really loves his job)
The service all round is top class
The views are spectacular, I just hope you get a clear night/morning that we got
Put it on your bucket list for your trip to Norway.

“ Preikestolen Sunrise Hike - May 2018 ”
Thank you Outdoorlife Norway for an incredible sunrise hike experience! It was our favorite part of our trip to Norway!
Erlend was our guide and we were picked up in Stavanger around 1am (this varies based on the time of year) and then made our way to Preikestolen. Our hike took around 2 hours to get to the top and we made it about 20 minutes before the sun came over the mountains.
This is a great hike with about 3 challenging "climbs." The climbs consist of a steeper incline and rock stairs. The first climb is right at the start of the hike. This really gets the blood flowing and allowed our guide to gauge if we would be able to complete the hike. Of the 3 climbs, the third is probably the most challenging and the longest but there is a great sense of accomplishment when you get to the top of it! We were a relatively active group but not all experienced hikers and we were able to complete the hike.
Our guide kept a steady pace with several stops to adjust layers, drink and refill water and to catch our breath.
We were warned that there was a chance of fog the day we were hiking but we lucked out and had a clear day with the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.
At Preikestolen there were only 3 other people outside of our group around for the sunrise which was really nice because it is usually really crowded. We got to take a lot of stunning photographs and took in the surroundings.
We purchased the photography package for this and it was totally worth it. Our guide knew all the great places to take photos and what lighting worked the best.
We spent about 45 minutes to an hour at the top of Preikestolen before we made our way back down. Our guide also brought us warm juice to enjoy before we started hiking again.
The hike down wasn't too bad and the hiking poles definitely helped when making our way down the 3 climb sections. When you get to the bottom you get to enjoy a nice breakfast at the lodge. (the fresh baked bread is amazing!) We were back in Stavanger before noon.
I would highly recommend this hike! Outdoorlife Norway is a great company, super responsive and informative and we had the best experience.

“ Preikestolen Sunrise Hike: Favorite part of my trip to Norway ”
The short version: This was my favorite thing from my week long trip to Norway and I highly recommend it. Outdoorlife was awesome, our guides were phenomenal, I not only had a ton of fun with a great group of people and enjoyed a vigorous hike, but also got to see some epic views of Norway.
Phew, now I'll go into more detail. Our guides were Alan and Hilde (plus her sweet husky Molly) and they were all amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a ton of fun chatting and joking throughout the hike. Alan and Hilde pointed out many birds, wildlife, and interesting plant life along the hike which was fascinating and really added to the entire experience (an example of why its great to take these kinds of hikes with a guide). Molly the husky was a great bonus as she was so sweet and friendly and a fabulous model for adventurous photos. Our group was Alan and Hilde, my boyfriend and I and just one other person. It was great having a small group and we had the trail and Pulpit rock all to ourselves for the entire hike - which is apparently not always the case even so early in the morning so I consider us very lucky as it really added to the magic of the experience. We all got along and had a great time chatting during the 5 hours of hiking. Alan is an experienced photographer and took some awesome photos of us along the hike (which I purchased afterwards through Outdoorlife, I attached a few to this review). They were fine with me taking my own photos as well and said if I wanted to stop to take photos at any time just to say so which was nice, though I didn't as much as I may have wanted to since I would be stopping the group constantly since everything on the hike was so breathtaking haha.
I consider myself in shape and often go hiking around Southern California and the National Parks, but this was a vigorous hike. They warned us ahead of time that the first leg of the hike would perhaps be the hardest, to get our blood flowing and prove we are physically able to complete the hike right off the bat, and they weren't kidding. Im not sure if it was because I was only half awake from getting up at midnight but I was heaving and had to have my boyfriend carry my backpack to catch my breath after this first leg. The rest of the hike was more manageable but definitely still vigorous and required you to pay attention to your footing on the slippery wet rocks. So before booking just be aware this is a legit hike, not a stroll, and to come prepared with proper gear especially waterproof hiking boots NOT tennis shoes. For us, a waterproof coat and pants outer shell (and down jacket beneath) were also essential as it rained and snowed for much of our hike. Listen to your guide and the preparation instructions, they know what they're talking about. Since our group was considered physically fit and we had the time, we got to take the "off the beaten path" trail for the way back down for variety. This trail was so cool and maybe my favorite part even more so than Pulpit rock itself. It was like we were hiking through undiscovered lands, surrounded by raw beautiful nature.
Note: The weather is unpredictable especially in Norway and you have to be prepared that you may not get a clear sky to view the sunrise. This probably goes without saying (hopefully) but me and my boyfriend reminded ourselves of this many times beforehand since we knew the weather would be rainy. Indeed it was, and there was a low-hanging mist shrouding Pulpit rock on the day of our hike blocking the view of the fjord below entirely. It was still an awe-inspiring view looking out into the abyss though, and on the hike up and down below the cloud-line there were plenty of clear, stunning views of the fjord and lakes. And it was still such a cool experience hiking through complete darkness to light, even without a spectacle for sunrise itself.
My only regret was that we didn't have more time in Norway to go on more hikes with Outdoorlife. It was so much fun and an amazing experience I will always remember. And I saw from the online photos that the sunrise hike the day after ours had some clearer views, alas! But you can bet when my boyfriend and I return to Norway we will be booking more hikes with Outdoorlife.
Thank you so much Alan, Hilde, and Molly!
Takk for turen!

“ Oplevelsen var endnu bedre end jeg kunne have forestillet mig. ”

“ I did two hikes with Outdoorlife Norway and both were amazing and breathtaking in their own right. ”
The Norse gods also blessed me with good weather because it was sunny and perfect and calm both days! (it was all rain and gloom when I left Norway to travel back to the US).
The Kjerag Autumn Hike (09.17) with Johannes was grueling and I was so glad I did that one first. Our guide was attentive and helpful during the more difficult parts of the climb. He had great energy and was a good conversationalist too. I don’t think I could’ve made it up to Kjerag in the time we did if I didn’t do this tour. I definitely struggled a bit and worried I was running low on energy since it was the last leg of my trip. But I made it and it was so worth it! The views of the valleys and the fjords were so breathtaking!
The very next morning, I got picked up at 02:30am for the Preikestolen Sunrise Hike (09.18) with the other guide Erlend. We started the hike around 04:30am in the provided headlamps and hiking poles. Thanks Erlend for making the uphill climbs feel as painless as can be. It was a very different experience and it felt really amazing to enjoy nature in silence and all I could hear was my own breath. I avoid crowds when possible, so it was awesome that Outdoorlife offers this type of tour. There was no golden hour on this morning, but the blue hour was still very magical.
Thanks Outdoorlife Norway for these unforgettable experiences and for making my life so much easier. I was on the coast of Croatia for most of my vacation and I was so glad that they offered rentals. I rented both the hiking clothes and boots, which really saved me from packing! They also offer a photography package which you have an option of purchasing. So worth it!

“ Absolutely awesome. I definitely recommend this incredible experience. ”
We began the Preikestolen Sunrise Hike around 4:30 AM and progressed through the night with our headlamps, until the morning light gradually illuminated our path and the landscape around. We were really lucky with the weather. Once arrived at the Pulpit Rock, we could see a breathtaking scenery and amazing rising sun. Could have stayed at the top all day long… We took great pictures too, you can take pictures on your own but I recommend to order the photography package, so you can have both.
The guide was very friendly and did a great job.
I was a bit reluctant at first before ordering this tour because of the price, but it is definitely worth wile. Moreover, you can enjoy Preikestolen without the crowds. I wouldn’t have done it alone by night so this guided tour was perfect.
Don’t hesitate and go hiking!

“ If you’re contemplating booking this hike, do it! ”
I visited Stavanger on a quick bank holiday weekend, and was traveling alone. I booked the sunrise Preikestolen hike on 27/08/2017. Johannes was our guide, and our group was small – 7 people! I had a 2:30 am pickup time, and we arrived to the trailhead around 4-4:30 AM.
Johannes was great, explained the route, where the hills were, and what to expect along the way. He was friendly and affable, and explained a lot about Norway and the outdoor culture there. I appreciated that he kept a good pace, so felt like I was getting a good workout too :). We nearly had the trail to ourselves, which was nice. We stopped a few times, so everyone could grab a quick snack, water, and reorganize. We arrived to the top about 20 min before sunrise, and what a view! Totally worth the wake up time.
On the way down, there was a steady stream of people, SO GLAD I wasn’t in the middle of that. Lots of tour buses arriving as we were leaving after breakfast (which was also good!).
If you’re contemplating booking this hike, do it! Totally worth the wake up time, and then you have the whole rest of your day to enjoy Stavanger. I’ll definitely be back, and would like to do one of the multi day hikes. Thanks, Johannes!

“ We did the sunrise hike with Johannes as our guide on 27/08/2017. ”
Johannes was a great guide – he set out what to expect on the hike from the very beginning (ie the 3rd hill is the longest and the steepest). He was very patient and provided a lot of history of Norway, which you otherwise are likely not to hear. He encouraged you with the promise of brekky on the way down, and never failed to crack a smile and joke around!
It was so worthwhile getting up early and making it to the top before the majority of people are there – we left the rock around 7am and headed back down and the sheer number of people making their way up was insane! Whenever we come back to Norway, we will do another trip with Outdoorlife Norway!

“ The hike was really awesome! ”
The guide is great and stopped every now and then to check if everyone was still alive and or to have a drink or make a picture. In addition, he gave us fun and interesting information about the area. At first it was foggy on the top, so we didn’t actually see the sunrise. However, the mist gave it a mysterious look, which was cool. Five minutes after we started to hike down, it cleared up (luckily). So, we hiked up again and got some great shots. I recommend this to everyone!

I was a bit scared because I was travelling alone but once we started the hike felt more comfortable, I love the way tge groups are not that big. After the hike breakfast at the lodge wich was well deserved after that hike .

“ Amazing sunrise hike to Preikestolen! ”
I was picked up at 01:00 AM in the center of Stavanger. We had a great guide, funny and he knows his stuff. We took the ferry to TAU and from there it was a short car trip to Preikestolen. After a nightly cup of coffee we started our climb. Although the weather forecast wasn’t great we got to see lot’s of stars and during the hike the upcoming morning light. After a hike of about 2,5 hours we arrived at the magical Preikestolen and we were the only ones. The sun peeked through the clouds and gave us a magical light show. Absolutely recommended!! And I wil be back, that’s for sure.

“ Innovative way to see this stunning landmark. ”
Climb in the dark of night using a headlamp. Poles provided to help with tricky terrain.
Our guide Alan was fab. Safe, informative and supportive as our small group made its way towards the summit. Not easy! But well worth the effort!

“ Our guide, Eldren, was great. ”
He is very passionate about hiking and getting people to engage with nature. He even took the time to teach us about the local wildlife and edible berries and plants along the way. As for the hike itself, it was little demanding since I had barely slept; but with a good night’s sleep it is very doable. I also highly recommend the sunrise hike in order to get to the top before the bus loads of tourists arrive. We were lucky that the weather was good. Seeing the sun rise over the fjord was unforgettable. Excellent experience!

“ The hike to Preikestolen during the night was a great experience and we were very lucky with the weather and the view. ”
The trip was well organised, pickup at 1 in the night worked without problems too. Our guide was very friendly and supportive, told us a bit about the landscape, what you can see. He made sure we were there just perfectly on time. The only thing which I feel was strange is that he had quite a fast pace and there were typically 10-20m to the first person to follow. He did wait from time to time though to have the whole group together and we also did group photos:-) My expectation is that the quide adapts his speed to the group average speed or even to the slowest member. Our group was doing ok and everyone was more or less able to keep up, so no major issue for this constellation.
Thanks a lot for the unique experience

“ It was absolutely amazing and worth the effort! ”
My wife and I did the sunrise hike up Preikestolen. Best of all was our awesome guide. He was so thoughtful and a fantastic photographer. We got the photos from the trip a few days ago and they are simply stunning. I cannot imagine doing this with anyone else! Thank you!
