Preikestolen Hike - Off the Beaten Track

Book now

Preikestolen is one of the most stunning and thus most populair hikes in Norway. Every year, approximately 275.000 hikers find their way up to the cliff, hanging at 604 metres above the Lysefjord. Avoid the crowds hiking up and down the main path and join us on a roundtrip off the beaten track to enjoy a unique Preikestolen experience.

We start by canoeing across the Refsvatn Lake, after which we hike 70% on off the map trails – forgotten and overgrown – while 30% of the hike includes off-trail hiking and scrambling. We hike a roundtrip, providing you with new sceneries throughout the whole hike. Why? To hike in solitude and reach out-of-this world views over the Lysefjord and the Preikestolen that only few people have seen before.

The duration of the tour is about 10-11 hours. The hike itself takes about 6 hours incl. breaks. We will be hiking through mountainous terrain, in possible changing weather conditions. We recommend eating a good breakfast to keep your energy up throughout the day.
