Experience the desert in one day on this full day jeep tour of Wadi Rum’s Protected Area traveling by our desert 4x4s. You will spend the day exploring red sand dunes, hidden canyons and dramatic mountains.
We visit the main valley sites of Lawrence Spring, the red Al Rama Sand Dune, Khazali Canyon, Small Arch and the Mushroom Rock. We continue out of the main valley to see the views at Lawrence House. Your Bedouin guide will prepare a modest Bedouin meal in the desert. After lunch continue by desert 4×4 to see Mushroom Rock, Um Frouth Rock Bridge and Abu Khashaba Canyon – a beautiful canyon walk. Your guide will choose a beautiful area to watch the sunset. After sunset you will either return to Wadi Rum Village, or sleep in our traditional Bedouin Camp. We’ll gather around the fire, prepare dinner and offer you Bedouin tea. Usually every night we gather all together, play Bedouin music and share stories about Wadi Rum desert and Bedouin culture. If you wish, you can go for a night-time walk in the desert with our guidance.
Next morning after breakfast we will take you back to the Rest House in Wadi Rum village. We can help you find quality means of transportation “to” and “from” Wadi Rum (taxi, bus, car rental etc.- it’s up to you).
There is plenty of time at each of the sites to get down from the jeep, take photographs, relax, drink Bedouin tea or go on a short walk.
