Book now

Due to the oversold of the classic Inca trail, we have the necessity of finding new original Inca trails that have been used by the ancient Incas to connect their sacred sanctuary Machu Picchu with the rest of the empire, in order to sustain the chosen people that used to live in the sanctuary, the Inca people build a network of trails to reach Machu Picchu. The Inca Amazon trail is one of the most important trails for food supply and transfer of the sacred coca leaves, which are considered very important in their daily lives. This trail connects Machu Picchu with the rain forest of Vilcabamba, which was the last capital city of the Incas. This trail has also been used as one of the most important commercial trade trail between the Incas and the people form the rain forest. As we know they never have been enemies, they kept a commercial trade between them.

This is not just an alternative Inca Trail trek. You will have the experience of hiking as our ancient people did. To hike over their foot prints will give an amazing and satisfactory feeling.
The original Inca Amazon trail is a new route we offer, which combines a large number of adventures and sports such as biking and trekking. It includes a 80 km downhill bike ride on brand new full suspension mountain bikes through the mountains from Abra Malaga (4316 meters about sea level) to the green valley below at the cloud forest, base of Santa Maria (1250 meters about sea level). We will hike along recently discovered real Inca paths and will also reach a lookout point called Llactapata, where you will have the opportunity to see archaeological sites and have the first few of Machu Picchu.
On the fourth day of our trip we will reach our main destination, the sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
