Join us on a kayaking trip in the fantastic surroundings, North of Bergen. We paddle between islands and reefs in the bay where Herdlefjorden meets Hjeltefjorden. During the trip, we'll make a short stop where we can enjoy our lunch and have a closer look at the ruins from the second world war. There is also a bird sanctuary with with more than 240 different species of birds, so we may get to see eagles or other rare birds!
We start with a short orientation and safety briefing before we take to the water. We will paddle together in a group and you will be given interesting historical and cultural details about Herdla as well as receive paddling pointers and tips. We will make landfall somewhere during the trip to have lunch and enjoy a locally-made beverage. You may get the opportunity to explore some of the old WWII ruins before continuing our trip. If you booked a trip including transport, the total duration is around 6.5 hours. After gearing up, safety briefing, etc., the total activity length will be around 3 hours. Exact trip route will be determined on the day and is largely determined by: the weather, group size and group experience.
Have a nice trip!
