Stockholm is the capital of Sweden but offers as well extensive nature and abundant wildlife like Deer, Beavers, Hares, Foxes, Wild Boars and the famous Moose. All animals wander freely around, waiting for us to discover them. Walk into the lush forest and try to spot wildlife while experiencing Swedish landscapes along the way.
Explore the real Sweden, its nature and wildlife on a guided hike through Sweden’s National Park, about 20km from Stockholm. Experience ancient forests with still lakes and pine trees that are hundreds of years old. We meet late in the day in central Stockholm and drive together out into the wilderness. We walk into dusk and darkness - which is the best time to spot animals and to enjoy the most spectacular sunset. The hike goes mainly off-trail and our goal is to spot wild animals like deer, hares, foxes, wild boar or maybe even the famous moose. You never know what you will spot but that's the beauty of being outside in nature. We will finish the hike with a traditional Swedish meal, freshly prepared on the spot. The trip ends back in town, where we will drop you off at Gullmarsplan or Central Station.
The hike goes partly off-trail into nature but will always be adjusted to group composition, fitness level, and weather conditions.
